What they don’t tell you is that things tend to crash and burn before they do. And it can be pretty fucking gruesome. No one likes seeing a slow motion apocalypse unfold in gritty, bone-fracturing detail. But quite frankly, unless you’re six feet under, you’re alive and kicking, and that means it’s a little too late to back down. There’s no point in sheltering yourself from the truth. Sometimes this is the world we wake up to, sometimes it is our life we wake up to. But don’t let that scare you, everyone gets a second chance.
