The problem with morality
…is that it’s derived from an external set of values which must be inculcated. For this, morality is always in translation, transcribed from generation to generation, leaving its integrity in question. Underneath our institutionalized structuring there is an inborn truth which inexplicably draws us together once we have lifted the shadows. Our affinity for virtue, living in accordance with one’s true will, the movement of the universe.
You know when you have become part of the cosmic flow. There is no longer an intellectual distinction between “right” and “wrong.” When we try to force a situation, belief, fear, existential potholes derail us without fail. When we give ourselves over to life, the way almost seems to pave itself.
